Marry in blue, Lover be true

.Something Blue.
We are all very familiar with the lovely little good luck tradition of  the bride wearing blue on her wedding day...
Of all of the 5 traditions,
Something old, new, borrowed blue, sixpence in her shoe...
Something blue is definitely my favorite!!
The others are quite lovely as well, although I'm unsure how comfortable a sixpence in my
 6 inch heels might feel??
The blue tradition is said to be the eldest of all of them, dating back to ancient Israel, Rome and England, symbolizing
true love, loyalty and fidelity,
hence the charming proverb
"Marry in blue, Lover be true"
Okay so we have, *True love... *Loyalty... *Fidelity... Very romantic!
What else? Oh yes, Fun! This is my favorite of the traditions because it can be the most fun! Get creative, be a little daring! It may be the eldest of the traditions but in my opinion it is the best way to add some fun modern flare.
