There's always room for cake!

It's seems as though today, more and more couples
are giving the elbow to the wedding cake on their big day,
in exchange for other dessert options...
cupcakes, cake pops, dessert bars,
 jars full of assorted candies...
These are all very delightful and scrumptious too,
but how can you have a wedding without real cake!
Without Wedding cake?
Every great celebration deserves a great cake!
Not only are wedding cakes delicious
but they are also works of art that many times
serve a beautiful focal point in the room.
As well... the wedding cake isn't just a tradition
because we are all cake lovers, it has symbolic duties too.
The action of the bride and groom cutting the cake
is meant to symbolize their first joint task in married life.
And the gesture of feeding cake to one another is a symbol of
the commitment the bride and groom are making.
Traditionally the wedding cake was to be white to symbolize purity
but the cake and it's color have taken on a new attitude!
I still love a white wedding cake,
pure, calm, simple and delicate...
just like the type of marriage you would wish to have.
But I'm also in love with the fun, flare and playful elements  a colored cake
can add to the
whole effect of the magical night.
Below are some of my most favorite
romantic and fun wedding cakes,
white, pink lavender... which ever color, they are all amazingly romantic and gorgeous
